Hans started his musical career at age 13 because he wanted to join the school band. They lacked a bassist so Hans picked up the bass and instantly connected with it. This band Riptide won the Popprijs.
Next stop: Mae West. This glamfunk Prince-style original band toured all over the Netherlands and recorded various albums.
After a short break Hans got the musical itch again. He decided to scratch it together with guitarist Martijn and TIMBЯ was born soon afterwards.
